Frequently Asked Questions
Pelvic floor exercises (Kegels) strengthen the muscles around your rectum and anus. This helps by:
- Improving blood circulation to reduce swelling
- Strengthening muscles that support internal hemorrhoids
- Preventing hemorrhoids from prolapsing (pushing out)
- Improving bowel control to reduce straining
Clinical studies have shown statistically significant improvement in hemorrhoid symptoms with regular pelvic floor exercise practice.
For best results, we recommend:
- Daily practice: At least one session per day (5 minutes)
- During flare-ups: 2-3 shorter sessions throughout the day
- Consistency over intensity: It's better to do 5 minutes daily than 30 minutes once a week
Most users start noticing improvements within 2-4 weeks of consistent practice.
